Privacy policy
What we store
- Your practice data (answers, attempts, flags, which items you have seen) is stored in your browser's local storage. It never leaves your device unless you clear it or your browser does.
- License state is a signed, HttpOnly cookie set when you activate a license key. It contains a hash of your key and the exams it unlocks, not your name or email.
- License usage record: for a purchased key our server stores when it was activated on each device and every paid session it delivered or scored (timestamps, which questions were delivered, item counts). It never includes your answers. It exists to enforce fair-use limits and so refund requests and payment disputes can be checked against actual use, and it is kept for up to three years.
- Server logs: our host (Cloudflare) keeps standard request logs for security and abuse prevention.
Payments
Purchases are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd (Paddle) as merchant of record. Paddle collects your email and payment details, issues your receipt and license key, and handles taxes and refunds under its own privacy policy. We receive your email address and order details to provide support and honor refunds.
Analytics
We use privacy-respecting, cookie-free analytics to count page views and a handful of product events (diagnostic started, mock finished, checkout clicked). No cross-site tracking, no advertising identifiers.
If you email hello@mockcerts.com we keep the thread to answer you. We do not send marketing email unless you ask for updates.
Your rights
Email hello@mockcerts.com to request a copy or deletion of any personal data we hold (in practice: your order record and support emails).
